Davis Hake

As the former Director of Cybersecurity Strategy at Palo Alto Networks, Davis Y. Hake was responsible for building and sharing the company’s strategy for cybersecurity thought leadership and deliv- ering valuable information, insights, and instructional tools on all things related to cyberthreats and today’s security landscape. Prior to joining Palo Alto Networks in 2015, Mr. Hake was a leader in U.S. government cybersecurity serving in the White House, at senior levels in the Department of Homeland Security, and as a policy expert for the U.S. Congress. Mr. Hake also drafted some of the first comprehensive cybersecurity legis- lation, for which he received a Federal 100 Award for leadership in the IT community. He is a graduate of the University of California-Davis, where he studied interna- tional relations and economics and received a Masters degree in Strategic Security Studies from the National Defense University.
