Al Perlman is the co-founder of New Reality Media. Prior to founding New Reality, Al was President of Ziff Davis Business Media, where he was responsible for some of the leading brands in the high-tech industry, including PC Magazine, and where he launched new brands such as Baseline and CIO Insight. Before that, Al was a co-founder of Interactive Week, which was the first print newspaper about the Internet and which was subsequently sold to Ziff-Davis. Al was also the start-up publisher of Network Computing and the start-up editor or editorial director of such luminary publications as InformationWeek, CommunicationsWeek, CRN, Computer Systems News, VARBusiness and others. Al’s publications have won numerous awards for journalism and, along with Mike Perkowski, Al won a Jesse H. Neal award for the premiere issue of VARBusiness.
